[Mod] Xaero’s Minimap [1.7.10 – 1.20.2]
Xaero's Minimap is a small mod by Xaero96, featuring a minimap to help you find your way around the game, as well as many of the features we'll introduce below. Basically, it's a default integration that's included in the Better PVP mod, but many players have asked for just the minimap, which is what the author decided to do. Unlike other minimap mods, Xaero retains the Minecraft look and feel that might even make you forget it's a mod. It's also the first minimap to feature position-based rotation.
Without further ado, let's take a look at the features of this mini-map.
Features
- A look that integrates perfectly with Minecraft.
- 2 colors available: Vanilla, to give the minimap a fairly light color, reminiscent of the Minecraft of yesteryear, and Accurate, to match the colors of today's blocks.
- Available in several languages.
- Works with most mods.
- Possibility of blocking the map to the north, thus disabling map rotation.
- Displays map above ground, but also below (cellar, dungeon, etc.).
- Possibility of activating the chunk grid.
- Possibility of activating the grid of chunks where slimes are located.
- Waypoints. Set unlimited waypoints. You can teleport to different waypoints (you must have permission (OP) to do so). Press B to create a new waypoint. Press U to see the waypoint list.
- Visibility of in-game waypoints. If you define a waypoint, it will be displayed in-game as a letter. This option can be disabled.
- Deathpoints. A waypoint is automatically created at the location of your last death. Handy for retrieving your equipment.
- Displays monsters on the minimap in yellow. Customizable in the options. Passive and hostile mobs can have a different color.
- Displays players on the minimap in white. Customizable in options.
- Displays objects on the minimap in red. Customizable in options.
- Displays all other entities such as arrows and the like in purple. Customizable in options.
- The minimap can be zoomed in and out (I and O).
- Coordinates displayed below the minimap.
- Displays the biome you're in below the minimap.
- You can configure many things, such as the size of the minimap, its position on the screen, etc...
